Hastelloy C2000 Round Bars are high-performance bars, made from a nickel-based alloy designed for strength and corrosion resistance. They perform well in both oxidizing and reducing environments making them appropriate for harsh industrial conditions. Their chemical composition includes Nickel (balance), Molybdenum 15.0–17.0%, Chromium 14.5–16.5%, Iron 4.0–7.0%, Tungsten 3.0–4.5%, along with trace amounts of Cobalt, Manganese, Carbon, Vanadium, Phosphorus, and Silicon. These elements give the alloy excellent resistance to acids, high strength, and low thermal expansion.

Hastelloy C2000 Bars are available under ASTM B335 / ASME SB335 standards. They range from 5 mm to 500 mm in diameter and lengths up to 6000 mm. These bars come in many forms like round, square, hex, rectangle and wire. They are strong, reliable and suitable for parts that face both heat and corrosion. Its exceptional performance in reducing and oxidizing media, superior pitting and crevice resistance over C-276, and resistance to sulfuric, hydrochloric, and hydrofluoric acids are some of its key characteristics.

Hastelloy C2000 rods are widely used in chemical processing, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals. They are essential for parts like valves, pumps, fasteners, and heat exchangers where corrosion resistance is critical and are also used in industries like electronics, automotive and aerospace for parts that need to endure extreme conditions. In order to remove stress and improve corrosion resistance, hot or cold forming is followed by solution annealing. To obtain the necessary mechanical qualities and surface finish, the bars are subsequently processed by hot rolling, cold working, or grinding.
