Duplex Steel S32205 Bars, also known as Duplex 2205 Round Bars, belong to the ferritic-austenitic stainless steel family. They have a high strength, durability and excellent corrosion resistance due to their 22% chromium, 5% nickel and 3% molybdenum. These bars are a reliable choice in harsh environments because of their trustworthiness in enduring chloride stress corrosion cracking. The chemical composition includes: C (max 0.030), Mn (max 2.00), Si (max 1.00), P (max 0.030), S (max 0.020), Cr (21.0–23.0), Mo (2.50–3.50), Ni (4.50–6.50) and N (0.08–0.20). Tensile strength of 116,000 Psi (800 MPa), yield strength of 80,000 Psi (550 MPa), elongation of 15%, density of 7.8 g/cm³ and melting point of 1350°C are its mechanical characteristics. Duplex 2205 round bars are available in a wide range of specifications to meet industry demands. Standards include ASTM A276 and ASME SA27. They come in round, square, hex, rectangular, coil, and wire-mesh shapes, and their diameters range from 3.17 mm to 350 mm. Their lengths range from 1 to 6 meters. Duplex Steel S32205 Bars are widely used in industries that demand strength and corrosion resistance.
