Super Duplex Stainless Steel S32750, sometimes referred to as “2507” or “F53” is a high-performance alloy that is known for its resistance to corrosion and strength. In chloride rich environments, its dual microstructure of austenite and ferrite provides exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. The alloy’s high weldability and toughness are due to its low carbon content, 7% nickel, 3.7% molybdenum and 25% chromium. With a tensile strength of 795 MPa, yield strength of 550 MPa, 15% elongation and hardness of up to 310 HB its mechanical strength is remarkable. These bars are carefully manufactured by Metracore Alloys to meet stringent industrial requirements where reliability and longevity are essential.

Super Duplex S32750 Round Bars are supplied under ASTM A276, A479 / ASME SA276 SA479 standards. They come in round, square, hex, flat and rectangular shapes, and their diameters range from 10 mm to 100 mm. This grade is appropriate for intricate fabrications due to its high strength, superior weldability, and good machinability. Even in harsh conditions such as seawater and acidic solutions it exhibits exceptional corrosion resistance. The alloy is highly reliable in heavy-duty and offshore applications because it also exhibits outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking and maintains high impact strength even at low temperatures.
These bars are widely used in oil and gas, chemical processing, marine engineering and power generation. They are perfect for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pipelines, and desalination plants because of their strength and resistance to corrosion. They work well in subsea equipment, offshore drilling rigs and structural elements subjected to seawater in the shipping industry. To obtain the necessary finish and performance, manufacturing entails melting raw materials in electric arc furnaces, then hot rolling, annealing, descaling, and precise cutting.
