AWS Class ENiCrMo-4 Coated Electrodes are nickel-based electrodes designed for joining, and overlay applications where high strength and corrosion resistance are critical. They are used in harsh environments, because of their strong weld integrity and durability. Metracore Alloys supplies these electrodes with a precise balance of elements. The ERNiFeCr-1 MIG & TIG Filler Metal has a chemical makeup of C ≤0.05, Mn ≤1, Si ≤0.5, Cr 19.5–23.5, Ni 38–46, Fe ≥22, Mo 2.5–3.5, and other minor additions for stability. Typical mechanical results show a tensile strength of 550 MPa (80 ksi) with about 25% elongation making it reliable for demanding weld applications.
