Inconel 718 Welding Electrodes
Metracore Alloys is a leading Inconel 718 Welding Electrode Supplier, producing high-performance rods that meet demanding industrial needs. Inconel 718 Welding Electrode is a nickel-chromium alloy electrode known for its excellent strength and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Its composition includes nickel, chromium, molybdenum, niobium, titanium, aluminum, carbon, and iron, which together give it outstanding mechanical and thermal stability. Manufactured to exact specifications, these electrodes are available in diameters ranging from 1.5 mm to 3.2 mm and come in lengths of 320 mm. We ensure superior quality, precise standards, and consistent performance in every batch. Our inconel 718 filler rod deliver reliable welding results in critical applications.
Inconel 718 Welding Electrode, AWS A5.14 ERNiFeCr-2 Welding Electrode, Inconel 718 Welding Electrode Supplier
The Inconel 718 welding rod is well-known for its exceptional characteristics which make it ideal for high-stress applications. It has good creep-rupture strength, oxidation resistance up to 1800°F and consistent fatigue resistance. Its exceptional weldability facilitates fabrication without sacrificing strength. The alloy is extremely resistant to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking. The AWS A5.14 ERNiFeCr-2 Welding Electrode works well in seawater, whether stagnant or flowing, and is resistant to fouling. The mechanical parameters include yield strength (1030 N/mm²), tensile strength (1230 N/mm²), elongation (12%), and modulus of elasticity (205 kN/mm²). Physical properties at room temperature show a density of 8.2 g/cm³ and thermal conductivity of 13 W/(mK). These electrodes meet specifications such as AMS 5832 , making them reliable for demanding projects. The alloy is also registered under UNS N07718 welding rod standards.
Our Inconel 718 Welding Electrode are utilised in sectors that require high strength and corrosion resistance. Applications include aircraft ducting systems, jet engine exhaust systems, engine thrust-reverser systems, bellows and expansion joints. They are also used in turbine shroud rings, flare stacks, seawater components and chemical processing equipment that works with both oxidising and reducing acids. These electrodes manufactured using advanced metallurgical procedures, are engineered to perform under extreme service circumstances, making them a reliable solution for important industries.
