HASTELLOY® B-3® Coated Electrodes
Hastelloy® B-3® Coated Electrodes are welding consumables made for SMAW of Hastelloy B-3 alloy and similar steels. It resists strong acids, especially hydrochloric acid, across all concentrations and temperatures. With better thermal stability and stress corrosion resistance than B-2 alloys it gives reliable performance in tough environments. Its nickel-molybdenum base has a tensile strength of 100,000 psi and an elongation of 25%. These electrodes meet AWS A 5.11 ENiMo-10 Coated Electrodes and ASME IX F-43 standards. It also matches UNS W80675 requirements.
