HASTELLOY® G-30® Coated Electrodes
Hastelloy® G-30® coated electrodes are nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum-copper alloy welding rods designed for shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). They are mainly used for welding G-30® alloy and other metals exposed to strong acids. Metracore Alloys offers these electrodes as a trusted supplier and stockist. Our electrodes perform well in phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and mixed oxidizing environments. Their chemical composition includes high nickel with chromium (28–31.5%), iron (13–17%), molybdenum (4–6%), tungsten (1.5–4%), and copper (1–2.4%). This mix provides strong resistance to corrosion and good mechanical properties, with tensile strength of 85,000 psi (590 MPa) and elongation of 25%.
HASTELLOY® G-30® COATED ELECTRODES, AWS A 5.11 ENICRMO-11 COATED ELECTRODES, HASTELLOY® G-30® WELDING ELECTRODES, HASTELLOY® G-30® COATED WELDING ROD, HASTELLOY® G-30® COATED WELDING ELECTRODES, HASTELLOY® G-30® LIGHT COATED ELECTRODES
Our electrodes are known for their ability to resist many forms of chemical attack. They offer defense against localized corrosion such as pitting and crevice damage which frequently shortens the lifespan of equipment. These stop chloride stress corrosion cracking which is a common problem with stainless steel under harsh conditions. They are preferred by different welders because of their consistent weldability and high temperature strength. It is frequently used to overlay carbon steel to increase its resistance or to weld G-30® alloy. Our electrodes satisfy industry welding standards since they are categorised under AWS A5.11 and ENiCrMo 11.
Hastelloy® G-30® coated electrodes find use in many critical industries. These include petroleum refining, chemical plants, fertilizer production, power generation, metallurgy, and shipbuilding. They are also used in gas processing, machinery, and construction projects. A G 30® core wire must be prepared, a uniform flux coating applied, dried, cured, and quality checked as part of the manufacturing process. Before being packed each electrode is tested for corrosion and mechanical issues. In demanding settings this guarantees reliable welding performance.

These electrodes are supplied in moisture-proof packaging to maintain coating quality. Containers are labeled with electrode grade, AWS classification, and specifications for easy identification. Certified to AWS A5.11 and ASME SFA 5.11 standards, Hastelloy® G-30® coated welding electrodes are a dependable choice for industries that demand durability and corrosion resistance in tough service conditions.
