These super duplex steel flanges come with strong mechanical properties and reliable specifications. Standards include ASTM A182 / ASME SA182 with grades UNS S32750, S32760, S32950, F51, F53, and F55. Sizes range from 1/8″NB to 48″NB. They show exceptional resistance to chlorides, including stress corrosion cracking (SCC). The higher chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen levels give a PREN above 40, making them highly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. They also show strong resistance to sulfuric acid. Mechanically, they offer higher yield and tensile strength than standard duplex steels while keeping good ductility and formability. They also have excellent fatigue resistance, good weldability, and can absorb high energy during operation.
