Inconel X-750 Pipe Fittings
Metracore Alloys is a manufacturer and supplier of nickel alloy piping components, with a distribution network reaching project sites across India, the Gulf, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Our production programme covers Inconel X-750 Pipe Fittings in buttweld, forged, and socket weld configurations. Inconel X-750 (UNS N07750) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy.
Aluminium and titanium additions form the strengthening gamma prime phase during the age hardening cycle. The alloy resists oxidation, corrosion and high-temperature creep while keeping mechanical strength up to 704°C in service. Fittings in this grade suit extreme temperature and pressure environments where long service life is critical: gas turbines, nuclear circuits, and aerospace pipework all depend on them.
What are Inconel X-750 Pipe Fittings?
Inconel X-750 Pipe Fittings are pipework connectors produced from the age-hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy UNS N07750. The base chemistry carries at least 70% nickel and 14.0 to 17.0% chromium. During heat treatment, gamma prime particles, Ni3(Al,Ti), precipitate through the matrix and lock in strength at red heat.
Nickel Alloy X-750 Pipe Fittings withstand oxidation and corrosion in hot air, combustion gas, and aggressive process media. The component exhibits high resistance to fatigue under cyclic loading conditions. Fabricators weld the grade with matching filler metal, then restore aged properties through post-weld heat treatment. Once installed, Inconel Alloy X-750 Pipe Fittings hold their dimensions and structural integrity across extended service.

Key Features of Inconel X-750 Pipe Fittings
Eight characteristics separate this grade from solid-solution nickel alloys, each tied to the aged gamma prime microstructure.
- Superior oxidation resistance is provided by a protective chromium oxide film that shields surfaces during thermal cycling.
- High tensile and creep strength carries all the way to the 704°C service ceiling.
- Fatigue resistance under vibration suits rotating equipment pipework.
- Corrosion attack from organic acids and alkalis stays minimal.
- Performance holds steady at elevated temperatures because the aged structure resists coarsening in service.
- Thermal fatigue cracking from alternate heating and quenching is limited.
- Operational life spans years between scheduled replacements.
- Structural stability under pressure holds through combined mechanical and thermal load.

Benefits of Inconel X-750 Pipe Fittings
Six commercial gains justify this grade’s price in critical service.
- Performance in high-temperature environments allows engineers to remove cooling provisions from around pipe joints.
- Oxidation and corrosion resistance together cut wall-thinning allowances.
- Mechanical strength permits thinner sections and lighter assemblies.
- Cyclic loading doesn’t shorten joint life as it does with standard fittings.
- Maintenance spend falls as inspection intervals stretch.
- Extended service life pushes replacement past normal plant turnaround windows.
